How will you pay for IPSURE's Services?
The cost of our services will depend upon the nature of the service provided. We may receive commission, in which case the payment will be made to us through Synchronised Business Services Pty Ltd. By the fund manager / Life Company you invest/contract with. Generally the commissions will be based on the amount you invest, and may vary from product to product. Details are contained in the product information statements, and a commission disclosure document, which is part of the Statement of Advice, which is supplied to you before you enter into a contract.
Alternatively, we may charge a fee, based on the time we spend developing your plan or service provided and based on the value of the funds invested or time spent arranging the service. If you choose to pay a fee, this fee must be paid prior to the receipt of the plan. If a fee is paid, we may rebate to you part or all of the commission we would otherwise receive. Please note that should a contract for Insurance be cancelled within the Commission responsibility period [ usually the first 12 months ] then a fee equal to the amount of commission which is clawed back by the insurance company will be charged to you and payment of this fee is expected within seven [ 7 ] days of the cancellation.
Commissions are paid to us us through Synchronised Business Services Pty Ltd by the fund manager / Life Company you invest/contract with. They are paid at the time you invest/contract and during the life of your investment/contract. We will invoice you for a fee before you receive our written recommendations. Our fees are payable prior to the plan’s presentation and are payable to Synchronised Business Services Pty Ltd, and our ongoing management fee is to be paid to Synchronised Business Services Pty Ltd prior to any review of your plan.
Either way, we may receive an ongoing, or what is called a trailing commission (part of the fund managers’ management fee). Details are contained in the Statement of Advice which is provided to you before you enter into a contract. Should a third party refer you, that third party may receive a fee for referring you to Ipsure Pty. Ltd. Details can be provided by the Administration Manager of Ipsure Pty. Ltd. or Synchronised Business Services Pty Ltd. and is also detailed in the Statement of Advice provided to you.
